55 North is an independent, community based non-profit

We receive support from the Ohio Department of Aging through the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio, United Way, neighborhood churches, foundations and private individuals.

We do not charge for lunch, transportation, or social services. We offer health and wellness activities, transportation, social services, and caregiver connections, mostly free of charge.

Membership is not required to participate in any activity or service offered by 55 North, but it is a simple way to show your support. Click the button below for our online application.

Access

Access is a shared-ride public transportation service, providing curb-to-curb transportation for people whose disabilities prevent them from riding Metro buses. To use Access, you must first register and be approved for service, a process which can take up to three weeks.

About Access

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) was passed to remove the physical barriers that have kept persons with disabilities from fully participating in Metro society.

The ADA states that Metro`s regular bus service should be the primary means of public transportation for everyone, including people with disabilities. Under the ADA, Access serves as a "safety-net" for only those persons who do not have the functional capability to ride Metro buses. Disability alone does not qualify a person to ride Access under the ADA.

Customers made eligible for Access after January 1, 2004 are eligible for Access` ADA services only.

Access` service area and hours of operation are based on regular Metro service. Access service is limited to Hamilton County and within 3/4 of a mile of regular (non-express) Metro service and within the hours of regular (non-express) Metro service. Rules of Riding

Access drivers are responsible for:

• Assisting customers on and off the vehicles lift or steps
• Securing your wheelchair or scooter
• Fastening every customer`s seat belt
• Contacting 911 in case of any medical emergency on the vehicle
• Collecting fares

Access drivers are NOT responsible for:

• Assisting customers in and out of buildings
• Carrying groceries and packages
• Installing child safety seats

Fare Deal

Metro`s Fare Deal program allows eligible riders to obtain a Fare Deal identification card valid for half-price fares on any Metro trip.

Eligible participants include:

• Adults 65 and older
• Medicare card holders
• Riders with disabilities
• Access card holders

Older adults are automatically eligible at age 65, proof of age is required. Medicare card holders of any age are also automatically eligible.

Riders with disabilities who don`t have Medicare and are not 65 must submit an application and be certified to qualify for the program. For Fare Deal information or an application call (513) 632-7540 (TDD Ohio Relay Service (800) 750-0750) Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fare Deal monthly stickers are available for $38.50. The sticker allows for unlimited rides each month. Stickers can be purchased at Metro`s sales office between the 15th of the preceding month until the 10th of the valid month.

Now Metro is more accessible than ever

With the addition of our new low-floor buses, the Metro fleet is nearly 100% accessible to people with disabilities. These new buses allow for easier wheelchair access and feature ramps allowing for faster and easier wheelchair boarding.

Metro standard bus fleet is also equipped with features to make riding easier for people with disabilities. Newer buses feature an automatic voice system to announce key stops, transfer points and other important information. Also, more than 90 percent of our buses are equipped with a wheelchair lift and two securement areas for wheelchairs.

Accessible Vans of America (AVA) is dedicated to providing quality rental vans with handicap accessible features. The organization is comprised of a group of independent wheelchair van dealers who are all committed to improving the accessible transportation options for people requiring adaptive equipment for mobility. All wheelchair rental vans are regularly inspected to ensure that you receive an accessible vehicle rental that is reliable and comfortable.

Each location has a fleet of rental vehicles with wheelchair ramps. Some locations have full sized vans and adaptive driving controls in the vehicles for rent. Vehicle availability fluctuates with the normal seasonal and holiday demand. Please reserve a wheelchair van rental in advance to guarantee that a vehicle meeting your needs is available.

Accessible Vans of America (AVA) has a wide variety of locations providing rentals of wheelchair accessible vans around the U.S. Each location has its own inventory of handicap accessible vans for rent with lowered floors, power ramps, and wheelchair lifts. Also available are hand controls, steering knobs, and other types of accessories to help you with any mobility needs.  Whether you need a wheelchair van rental for the day, the weekend, or weeks at a time the
location nearest to you will be happy to provide you with the right mobility van for you.

Ironically, millions of older Americans especially those with limited incomes are eligible for but not receiving benefits from existing federal, state and local programs. The Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation is the program that provides individuals with disabilities the services and support necessary to help them attain and maintain employment. Disabilities may include either physical, intellectual, mental health, or sensory disabilities. Vocational rehabilitation (VR) services are customized for each individual through assessments and one-on-one meetings with professional VR counselors.

The Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities is founded on the belief that all people have inherent worth and the right to be treated with dignity.  For over 40 years, the Board has provided information, support and service to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

How To File A Complaint

If you believe you have been delayed or denied services because of your race, color, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation or national origin, you may file a complaint within 180 days of the incident or treatment. For questions about how to file a complaint, call the ODJFS Bureau of Civil Rights, toll-free, at 1-866-227-6353. Transportation available in Middletown, Monroe, Trenton, Madison and Lemon Township areas. No wheelchair access; clients must be able to get to the curb and get in and out of the vehicle on their own. Call 24-48 hours in advance. Pick-up times are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Donations are needed and appreciated.
 

Curb-to-curb, on-demand service for all Butler County residents. Provides demand-responsive service. This means service changes daily, depending on demand. Normal operating hours are 6 a.m.--6 p.m., Monday-Friday. No weekend or holiday service is available. Individual or group trips are available. Medical shuttle available. Reservations accepted Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.--2 p.m.

Shopping Shuttles

BCRTA provides area shopping shuttles at a reduced fare. These shuttles are available within the city limits of Hamilton, Fairfield, and Oxford only. Shuttles pick-up riders at a requested location similar to the Dial-A-Ride service and transport riders to a predetermined shopping area for $2 one-way. Pick-ups are scheduled around 9 AM and riders return between noon and 1 PM. Riders may visit more than one destination in the retail area if time allows. Shopping areas vary by day. 

Community Connectors

BCRTA operates community connectors from Middletown to Hamilton and Oxford on a published schedule. Riders do not need to schedule these trips. Anyone may simply board the bus at a posted stop at the published time and pay the fare when boarding. Community Connectors will deviate 3/4 miles from the scheduled route to provide service at the community connector fare rate. Passengers must call a ride specialist to schedule a deviation.

Transportation

CASS provides two kinds of vital transportation for those age 60 and older:

• Senior Transport - Seniors who are unable to drive and have no other means of reliable transportation can become unnecessarily homebound and isolated.  Having access to essential services such as medical care and grocery shopping is a critical component in making it possible for a senior to remain living at home.  Transportation to provided to neighborhood senior center, weekly grocery shopping trips, and for group outings, social and recreational events.  Contact the CASS transportation department at (513) 721-0375.
• Medical Transport in wheelchair-equipped vans to medical appointments, clinics, and dialysis units is a crucial link for those confined to their home. CASS provides door-to-door medical trips, many for non-ambulatory people. Seniors must qualify under the PASSPORT or ESP programs. Contact to Council on Aging at (513) 721-1025 for information.   

Guardianship

Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP):  The senior who is both very compromised and completely alone is a special, and often desperate case. Typically a group home or nursing home resident age 60 or older, this client may require a court-appointed Guardian to advocate for his or her interests, make health care decisions, and provide the comfort of human contact. Guardianship is a legally defined process. While it may pertain to the individual, the estate, or both, CASS's program is solely involved in the care and management of the person. GAP recruits and trains guardians for this compassionate task, providing legal and social services support. CASS also holds quarterly training sessions to monitor program quality and assure dignity in the face of decline. Guardianship services are available in Hamilton County only, although volunteers can live outside Hamilton County.

CTC is the primary provider of public transportation in Clermont County. CTC offers three fixed routes in addition to its Dial-A-Ride services.  CTC operates 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday- Saturday. ADA Paratransit Service is available to CTC customers who have difficulty getting from their home to a bus stop on a Fixed, Shuttle, or Express route bus stop. Application required.

The Clinton County Board of Developmental Disabilities offers case management services, residential services and  transportation services. At their Town and Country School they offer children's programs. They also offer the Orion Rehabilitation Center. To find out more about their programs cilick here.

Food Pantry

The Community Action Food Pantry is a free service to help families/individuals that are struggling to put food on the table. The service provides applicants with a three day supply of food including, meats, vegetables, and fruits. Each household is eligible one time per month for this service and must be a resident of Clinton County.

Here are the Items needed to apply:

• Picture ID
• Proof of income for the entire household
• Proof of address (something that has been mailed to you within the last 30 days that has your name and address on it, ie. current bill.)

Clients must bring these three items every time they apply for the service.

Congregate Meal Information

Congregate Meals are provided at the Wilmington Senior Center located at 717 N. Nelson Road.  Meals are offered Monday thru Friday at 11:30 am.  Please call 937-382-7170 for more information.

Weatherization

Weatherization is a free service to those who qualify. It is a program designed to make homes more energy efficient. The goal is to create an energy efficient environment that not only is conserving energy, but doing so with health and safety being top priority.

HEAP

A household applying for HEAP must report total gross household income for the past 12 months for all members, except wage or salary income earned by dependent minors under 18 years old.  Both homeowners and renters are eligible for assistance.

Housing

The Clinton Community Action Agency (CCAA) helps to ensure individuals/families are given the opportunity to live in affordable housing. Since 1995 CCAA has been involved in building housing designed to help lower income individuals/families have affordable places to live. Such housing is geared toward people who do not make enough money for market rate rent but make too much for subsidized housing.

Senior Housing

Senior Housing is available in three different complexes.

• Community Commons
  Is off of Nelson Ave in Wilmington and has two and three bedrooms for seniors age 62 and older.
• Clinton Commons I
  Is off Thorne Avenue in Wilmington and has all three bedrooms units for seniors age 55 and older
• Clinton Commons II
  Is also off Nunn Ave in Wilmington all of which are two bedroom units for senior adults age 55 and older

Rent includes water, trash and sewage and washer /dryer hook ups are available in every unit.

Community Action Partnership of the Greater Dayton Area is a nonprofit Community Action Agency committed to eliminating poverty and promoting self-sufficiency by providing various programs and services for individuals and families.

Our Co-Founders Justin Boogaard and David Lung were inspired to create GoGo for Justin's Grandma Betty. She noticed that Justin would access rides and meals easily right from his phone. Maple Knoll Outreach Services is a Council on Aging contracted provider offering the following services:

The outreach services support homebound seniors. The programs include Meals-on-Wheels, counseling assistance with insurance and Medicare forms, transportation to medical appointments, therapy visits and grocery shopping.

Maple Knoll Outreach Services for Seniors offers transportation Monday through Friday to medical appointments, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, therapy appointments and grocery shopping. A wheelchair accessible van is also available. Medical transportation appointments must be made at least two weeks in advance.

Mayerson JCC (Jewish Community Center) is a contracted provider of Council on Aging offering the following services:

Mayerson JCC and Senior Center offers:  ShalomNet Computer Classes, Digital Photography Club, ShalomPhone, Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Meal site. 

Mayerson JCC offers congregate meals Monday thru Friday, check-in at 11:45 am each day.  Congregate meal options are also offered at the Mayersnon JCafe on Sunday 9:30am-4:00pm; Monday thru Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm; Friday 7:30 am-2:30pm.

With the JCC ShalomNet Computer Classes, you can learn the skills you need to surf the web, and e-mail friends and family at JCCs around the U.S. and the world! ShalomNet Computer Classes are held once a week for four, six, or eight weeks. You can join anytime!

The new ShalomNet Digital Photography Club teaches you modern photo techniques such as downloading pictures from digital cameras, scanning photographs, making photo manipulations and much more. Held in the JCC computer lab, these classes are specially designed for senior adults. ShalomNet is a JCC program and an initiative of The Manuel D. and Rhoda Mayerson Foundation. The photography club is FREE, and open to all senior adult JCC or ASK members.  Members will be responsible for their own expenses. Basic computer knowledge is preferred.  ShalomNet Digital Photography Club meetings will be held on the first and third Monday of every month at the JCC. Members can join at any time!

ShalomPhone

A telephone outreach program for seniors, ages 60 & older. Volunteers make daily calls to check on the well-being of elderly and disabled persons who live alone. ShalomPhone is funded by the Manuel D. and Rhoda Mayerson Foundation to support seniors who prefer to live independently. FREE. 

Meda-Care Transportation is a contracted provider of Council on Aging offering the following services:

Middletown is fortunate to have a full-service transit system with six-28 passenger buses and two-9 passenger paratransit buses, all wheelchair accessible.

Bus Passes

Single Fare - $1.25, 40-Ride Bus Pass - $50.00 - Available at the Citizen`s Service Center in the City Building lobby. There is no expiration date and passes can be used at any time.

Senior Citizens/Disabled/Medicare Card Holder Discount Rate - Single Fare - 60 cents, 40-Ride Bus Pass - $24.00. Fill out application to obtain discount transit ID card. Present card to receive discounted rates

Para-transit Services/Specialized Transit Service

Those with special needs may qualify for curb to curb transportation service on a wheelchair accessible bus.
Fare is $2.50 each way.

MobilityWorks maintains a fleet of wheelchair accessible rental vans at most of its locations, many offering Weekend Special rates. A wheelchair van rental can be made for just a day or for weeks at a time. Our rentals vans are typically lowered floor minivans with automatic fold-out ramps. Some MobilityWorks locations may also have full-size Ford E-150 handicap accessible vans with a wheelchair lift, subject to availability.

The mission of the Montgomery Board of DDS is to serve children and adults with mental retardation and other significant developmental disabilities, most of whom require comprehensive life-long services. The Board provides supports for individuals to live, learn, work and participate in their community.

The Board also provides supports for families on their efforts to care for their family member with a disability.

North College Hill Senior Center  is a contracted provider of Council on Aging offering the following services:

The North College Hill Senior Center provides opportunity for friendship, recreation, wellness and education, which enable Senior Citizens to maintain an active quality of life.

Congregate meals are offered at the North College Hill Senior Center Monday thru Friday, meal served at 12:00 pm., and at the Clifton Senior Multi-Service Center Monday thru Friday, meal served at 12:00 pm.

Oxford Senior Citizens, Inc is a contracted provider of Council on Aging offering the following services:

About Oxford Seniors

The purpose of Oxford Seniors is to provide physical, spiritual, social, educational, vocational and intellectual programs for adults 50 years and older. It shall act as an advocacy agency for them. Oxford Seniors is a Council on Aging Elderly Service Program Provider,  PASSPORT Provider, and Home Delivered Meals Provider.

Senior Transportation

Senior Transportation provided by Oxford Seniors is available to older adults 60 years of age or older or disabled individuals of any age.  The transportation service operates Monday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday through Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm, and on Sunday, 9:00am to 12:30pm.  The suggested donation is $1.50 one-way around town and $5.00 one-way out-of-town.  Rides should be scheduled 24-hours in advance with priority given to medical appointments.  Riders may use the service to travel to a variety of destinations including the grocery store, post office, library, hair dresser, physician, and hospital.  Contact the Transportation Dispatcher at 513.523.1717 to make a ride reservation. 

Congregate Meals

Congregate meals are offered at the Oxford Senior Center Monday thru Thursday, meal served at 12:15 pm, and at the Reily Presbyterian Church located at 6370 Peoria Reily Rd., Tuesdays with the meal served at 11:30 am.

Support Groups

Support Groups are held at the Oxford Seniors` center include Grief Support and Caregivers Support Group.  The facilitated meetings connect individuals concerned with similar issues.  The Caregivers Support Group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 1:15 pm. The Grief Support Group meets the first and third Mondays at 6:00 pm.  For more information, contact Sabrina Jewell at 513.523.8100 or sjewell@oxfordsenior.org.

Oxford Seniors Community Adult Day Service is a Council on Aging contracted service provider offering the following services:

  MISSION: Oxford Seniors is Dedicated to Serving Seniors and Strengthening Community. 
  
  Oxford Seniors has been serving Oxford and the surrounding communities since 1953.  In 1977, Oxford Senior Citizens became incorporated and began receiving funding from United Way and the area Council on Aging.  Senior transportation began in 1978 as the "Help Van," and the Congregate Meal Program followed the same year. 
  
  In 1990, Oxford Seniors became the provider for the Home Delivered Meals Program, delivering hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors.  The current Oxford Seniors building was completed in 1982.  The Community Adult Day Service was added in 2000 to serve older adults with special needs who cannot stay home alone.

Precious Life Center, LLC is a contracted provider of Council on Aging offering the following services:

In addition to developmental disabilities services, Safe Haven Agency has also expanded into the home healthcare sector with skilled nurses on staff. They provide services through supported living waivers, individual options waivers, and the level one waivers.

Safe Haven Agency assures families that their loved ones are well cared for and continue to live healthy and happy lives. They monitor their caregivers through one-on-one contact with their clients, telephone check-in, and home visits. They acknowledge the fact that each client is different, and they cater specifically to the diverse needs of every client. One of Safe Haven Agency’s goals is to make sure their clients feel comfortable and happy so they can live longer in the comfort of their own homes while still enjoying the services they provide. A land vehicle with a capacity to meet special height, clearance, access, and seating, for the conveyance of persons in non-emergency situations. The vehicle may or may not be required to meet local county or state regulations.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Cincinnati is a non-profit organization providing a unique style of personal assistance with food, clothing, medicine, rent, utilities, transportation and companionship to people facing economic, emotional or spiritual crises.

The Charitable Pharmacy

The Charitable Pharmacy is currently open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week to certify up to 12 new clients each day for up to six months of prescription coverage. To get enrolled you will need proof of residence, verification of income and expenses for all household members, and original or faxed prescriptions. The pharmacy serves clients from Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren Counties.

Edyth & Carl Lindner Choice Food Pantry

For those requesting assistance with food, the Edyth & Carl Lindner Choice Food Pantry is open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to noon at our West End Office at 1125 Bank Street.  Those living in the following zip codes are welcome to come: 45202, 45203, 45214, 45219, 45225, 45229, 45232. For those living outside the zip code range, please call (513) 421-0602 to locate a food pantry in your area. 

Please bring the following documentation with you:

1. Picture ID, Social Security Cards or a printout for the entire household.
2. Proof of address, for example a recent utility bill or any piece of mail with your name and address on it, postmarked within the last 30 days.

Homelessness Prevention

St. Vincent de Paul`s help is diverse and far-reaching, but it begins in prevention.  For those living paycheck to paycheck an unexpected expense such as a car repair or a child`s medical bill can set the whole household over budget.  Often a small investment to help with a rent or utility bill will save a family from eviction or having water or electricity turned off and ultimately catches them before they become homeless.

Across Cincinnati, that's what the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is all about serving our neighbors in need, regardless of race or religious affiliation. When difficult situations arise - a lost job, an illness or unexpected expense - the most basic necessities like food, shelter, medicine, clothing, and transportation can become impossible to afford.

St. Vincent de Paul operates 7 thrift stores throughtout Hamilton County in support of our programs and services.  The agency offers a free pick-up of donated furniture, hosehold items and hently used clothing for people wishing to downsize their residences or replace their current hosehold belongings.

At St. Vincent de Paul, we ease an individual or family's initial emergency, then shepherd them into programs that can bring lasting change.

TANK's DayTripper is a door-to-door transportation service available to qualified individuals traveling in TANK's current fixed route bus service area within Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties. DayTripper is a shared ride service and trips are provided on a first-come-first-served basis for anyone who is 60 years or older; or receives SSI; or receives Social Security Disability.

An application for DayTripper service can be obtained by contacting TANK's Special Service office at (859) 578-6949. Your application must be submitted along with proof of your age or proof you are receiving SSI or Social Security Disability (i.e. copy of SSI award letter or Medicare card). Once your application has been approved, a policy handbook will be mailed to you.

CILO is the oldest center for independent living in Ohio serving individuals with disabilities in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. Founded by individuals with disabilities and chartered in 1977, as a 501(c) 3 non-profit, the center is governed, managed, and staffed by a majority of professionals with disabilities. They serve individuals of all ages who have physical, sensory, cognitive, and/or psychological disabilities. They are agents of social change and the practical application of the disability civil rights and independent living movement. They help people become self reliant and live independently to ensure their full inclusion in our community. The MARIELDERS, INC. is a senior center dedicated to the enrichment of life for adults 55 and older by providing activities and services.  The MARIELDERS is located in Mariemont, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio and the service area includes the Villages of Fairfax, Mariemont, Terrace Park and parts of Columbia Township.

At Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities they focus on providing those with disabilities full accessibility to the community  in all key areas: transportation, housing, employment, education, leisure and business/financial opportunities.

Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities offers a wide variety of options, including early intervention, service coordination, family support, day services for adults, community employment, transportation, residential services and much more.

HEAP

Winter Crisis Program
The Winter Crisis Program provides assistance to eligible households that are disconnected, threatened with disconnection of their primary or secondary heating source, or have less than a ten day supply of bulk fuel. Eligible clients may receive assistance once per heating season.

Summer Crisis Program
The Summer Crisis Program provides financial assistance to eligible seniors, age 60 or older, on their electric bill. Call in June to see when the Summer Crisis Program begins.

Transportation services are provided through Warren County Transit Services (WCST).

Transportation is provided to advance scheduled destinations within Warren County on weekdays (Monday thru Friday) from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. Trips for medical reasons can be scheduled to some Middletown and Dayton areas.

Non-emergency transportation (NET) is a program that provides transportation for Medicaid-eligible (low-income) recipients to health care providers who bill to Medicaid. The customer must be eligible for Medicaid on the date transportation is provided.

Wesley Community Services is a Council on Aging contracted provider offering the following services:

• community transition service
• home-delivered meals (therapeutic available)
• homemaking
• independent living assistance
• medical transportation
• non-medical transportation
• personal care service

Wesley Community Services also has a Pet Portions Program and a meal delivery program for people with diabetes.   Service areas may vary.  Call for information.

Medical Transportation Services:

Transportation for medical appointment available six days a week by appointment. Door-to-door, on-time service. Call for appointment. Services include:

West Chester`s Senior Van Service is operated solely by volunteers. The Senior Van Service provides citizens of West Chester with transportation services to doctor`s appointments, the grocery store, and other appointments. There are two passenger vans available, one of which is handicapped equipped. This is a joint venture between West Chester Township and Partners in Prime.The service guidelines are as follows:

ELIGIBILITY 

Anyone older than 60 years of age or handicapped adults younger than 60 if confined to a wheelchair are eligible. Individuals who are legally blind also qualify for this service.

SAFETY

For your own safety, seat belts must be worn at all times. Belts must be secured before the van driver can operate the van.

APPOINTMENTS

Please make appointments as early as possible by calling 513-759-7208. No appointment will be taken after 1:00 pm on any given day. This is to allow time to return home those picked up. Appointments are prioritized in the following order: medical, nutritional, financial, social & recreational.

Please be ready 15 minutes before scheduled pick-up time. If an appointment needs to be cancelled, please call the office as soon as possible. If the van service has to cancel an appointment because a van is out of service, or hazardous weather conditions, etc. we will notify you as soon as possible.(When Lakota Schools are closed for bad weather, so is our van service.)

NO ANIMALS WILL BE TRANSPORTED BY THIS SERVICE

Exceptions to this are seeing eye dog with harness or one-way transportation of a newly purchased pet.

WHEELCHAIR NOTES

The driver is responsible for handling all wheelchair clients. The van service has the right to refuse transport of a wheelchair if: there are too many steps, if walkways or steps are snow or ice covered, or if client is too large or in any condition the driver feels is unsafe to transport.

Please allow extra time following the appointment for the driver to return to pick you up. The driver will be as prompt as possible, but there is always the possibility of traffic congestion. Please be patient and know that every volunteer working for this van service is doing their best to accommodate you.

The Wilmington Transit System began operations as The Wilmington City Cab Service in August, 1984, with two vehicles, and five part-time employees. WTS presently has seventeen vehicles, six full-time and fifty part-time employees. WTS has eight wheelchair accessible vehicles, and receives more than 11,000 calls a year for wheelchair assistance.

WTS delivers passengers to places of shopping, work, healthcare, school, babysitters, daycare, etc. WTS is a demand responsive, door-to-door service; which means when a passenger calls, WTS sends a vehicle, and if assistance is required, help is provided from door to the door of the destination. Passengers may also make “time calls, which is to set up a time that they need to be picked up at a later date and time.
