Services are available for those receiving dialysis. Referrals must be made by social worker from the dialysis unit. The Medication Aid/Emergency Assistance Program offers financial aid for medication and other emergency needs. Liaison Services furnishes information, support and referral assistance to patients and their families. The Nutritional Supplement Program grants funds for nutritional supplements for patients in need. The Kidney Foundation also provides information and programs about health care and organ donation to the community and programs to help kidney professionals stay up-to-date on all aspects of kidney health care and organ transplantation.
