Included in the day:
A Council on Aging benefits specialist will be on hand to help determine if you are eligible for programs and services that can help you remain independent in your home.
Clermont Senior Services will share how they can help support your independence: providing and coordinating in-home and community services.
Representatives from Pro Seniors and Senior Medicare Patrol will share information about common frauds and scams targeting older adults and what you need to know to NOT become a victim.
Representatives from IPM Food Pantry will distribute free snack packs. You can learn how IPN is more than a traditional food pantry.
Social isolation, limited transportation and mobility issues can make individuals more vulnerable to the impacts of disasters. Representatives from Clermont County Emergency Management will share why it is especially important for older adults to be prepared in an emergency – and ways to do it.
Representatives from Clermont County Health Department will have information detailing the ways they protect Clermont County residents from disease, promote health and protect the environment.
Visit with a local Social Security Administration representative and learn about their programs, services and benefits.
