The 2024 election is shaping up to be one of the most important of our lifetime, and it is a priority for Council on Aging (COA) to actively advocate for policies and programs that will help us achieve our mission to help adults remain independent in their own homes.
That’s why COA is partnering with AARP Ohio for On Tap: Power of the 50+ Voter, this Thursday evening.
The event gives voters the chance to let candidates and policy leaders know about what matters most in this election.
Event details:
Date: Thursday, June 20
Time: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Location: Braxton Brewing Company, 331 E. 13th St., Cincinnati, OH 45202
Attendees can expect an engaging evening of interactive discussions, fun activities, and delicious food and refreshments. It’s a chance for older adult voters to share their thoughts on the issues that are top-of-mind for them — including day-to-day challenges like caring for loved ones and protecting their hard-earned Social Security.
Check-in begins at 5 p.m., and the event starts promptly at 5:30 p.m. Food and refreshments will be provided for registered guests, and local congressional candidates have also been invited.
Those interested in attending must register to reserve their spot in this conversation, as space is limited.
If you are 50+ and interested in attending the event, or know someone who is, click here to register.
