Do you know a home health aide or an AddnAide caregiver who goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care for older adults in our region?
Council on Aging (COA) is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Home Health Aide Hero Awards. In recognizing these hardworking individuals, we aim to show our appreciation for their tireless efforts in helping older adults remain independent in their homes and communities.
The award ceremony will take place at Council on Aging’s 2024 Forum on Aging and Annual Meeting, March 6, at the Sharonville Convention Center. Award winners will be recognized in front of an audience of more than 400 professionals who work for and on behalf of older adults and individuals with disabilities in our region.
Eligibility
Anyone who provides direct care to an older adult to help them remain independent in their home is eligible for this award, as long as the worker is:
- Employed by a Council on Aging contracted service provider, or
- Employed as a caregiver for an older adult via the AddnAide app.
Nomination Process
Nominate a deserving home health aide or AddnAide caregiver by filling out an online nomination form. The form should detail the individual’s exceptional caregiving skills, dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life of the person they care for. Anyone can nominate a home health aide, COA’s providers, COA staff, COA clients, client’s caregivers/family.
We encourage you to nominate someone you know who truly deserves to be recognized for their hard work and dedication.
Nominations will be accepted until December 31, 2023.
By recognizing home health aides for their essential work, we hope to remind them of how much their efforts matter and show our appreciation for their contributions.
