Recently, the contracts between Council on Aging and Central Connections to provide certain services to older adults in Butler and Warren counties ended.
For those who previously attended a congregate meal provided at Central Connections or received transportation or supportive services through the organization, below is information about where to go or other organizations to contact for these services in the future.
CONGREGATE MEALS
There are several senior congregate meal sites in Butler and Warren counties that are open to anyone who is 60 or older. Meals are free, but donations are accepted.
- Monday-Thursday, 12-12:30 pm, Oxford Senior Citizens, 922 Tollgate Dr., Oxford, OH 45056. Call ahead for the menu or to reserve your meal, (513) 523-8100.
- Monday-Friday, 12-12:30 pm or later if needed: Warren County Community Services 741 Center, 570 N. St. Rte. 740, Lebanon, OH 45036. Call ahead for the menu or to reserve your meal, (513) 695-2271.
- Wednesday, 11 am-1 pm, meal service at 11:30 am: MidPointe Library Trenton, 200 Edgewood Dr., Trenton, OH 45067. Reservation required, call (513) 424-1251.
- Thursday, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, meal service at 11:30 am: MidPointe Library Monroe, 6 East Ave., Monroe, OH 45050. Reservation required, call (513) 424-1251.
- Friday, 10 am-1:45 pm, meal service at 11:30 am: MidPointe Library West Chester, 9363 Centre Pointe Dr., West Chester, OH 45069. Reservation required, call (513) 424-1251.
TRANSPORTATION
If you are 60 or older and need transportation to a medical office, congregate meal, grocery store, senior center or government office, you may contact one of the following providers to make a ride reservation, based on the county where you live. We recommend scheduling your ride three days in advance. Spaces may be limited.

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES
The following organizations offer supportive services to those 60 and older. Supportive services include linking individuals to appropriate community services, advocating on the participant’s behalf, assisting with completion of necessary forms such as those needed for benefits or services and supporting independent activities of daily living when no other support is available. Supportive services are only for individuals without existing support systems, whether formal or informal (help received from family, friend or another informal caregiver).
