As more older adults embrace the use of technology to stay connected to family and friends – or shop for groceries – access to appropriate technology is important. The nonprofit Cincinnati Computer Cooperative refurbishes donated computers and makes them available to older adults (55+) starting as low as $150. The co-op will even install free software and provide a one-year guarantee!
It’s easy, older adults can visit 49 Novner Drive in Woodlawn, 3-6 pm Monday-Friday or call 513.771.3262. A helpful, experienced staff member will be happy to guide seniors through the process of buying their computer.
For more than eighteen years, the Cincinnati Computer Cooperative has provided computers to those in need. The Cooperative has also donated over 1,000 computers to local area schools. http://www.cincinnaticomputercooperative.org/
