Council on Aging’s Vice President – Business Services Group, Sharon Fusco, was recently named to comSpark’s Power 500 list. The list, published in Lead Magazine, celebrates the leading IT executives and influencers of public, private and non-profit organizations in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky for 2018. The Power 500 focuses on acknowledging the great impact these individuals have on the community.
In her role at COA, Sharon leads the organization’s accounting, finance, quality and business intelligence, information technology, and projects departments. She is the agency’s Security Officer and also leads new business development initiatives.
The Power 500 is a comprehensive list of the leading CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and other senior technology executives who are leading technology and innovation influencers in the region.
As an inaugural member of the list, Sharon stated that she is focused on seeking opportunities to use technology to expand COA’s workforce while reducing costs. “We will have to re-think what ‘in the home’ looks like and how we can use technology to expand what our individual care managers can do.”
