Council on Aging is pleased to announce the newest members of its Board of Trustees, Advisory Council and Elderly Services Program advisory councils.
Joining COA’s Board of Trustees as of February 2017:
Jonathan McCann
Jonathan retired from Cincinnati-based Johnson Investment Counsel, Inc. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Cincinnati Christian University.
Joining COA’s Advisory Council as of April 2017:
William G. Thornton, Jr.
Bill Thornton moves from COA’s Board of Trustees to its Advisory Council where he will represent the interests of Warren County seniors. Bill has been a member of the COA Board of Trustees since 2006, serving as Treasurer, Vice Chairman, and Chairman. A resident of Warren County, Bill has has served on numerous boards over the last 30 years and holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
Joining the Butler County Elderly Services Program Advisory Council as of March 2017:
Sabrina Jewell
Sabrina Jewell is the Outreach and Marketing Coordinator for Oxford Seniors. Sabrina holds a bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in business from the University of Colorado.
Jared Wojcikowski
Jared Wojcikowski is the Continuous Improvement Specialist for Hixson, Inc. Jared holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Findlay.
Joining the Hamilton County Elderly Services Program Advisory Council as of September 2016:
Rose Stertz
Rose is the owner of Frankenrose Restaurants, including LaRosa’s restaurants in Milford and Goshen. Rose holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Mount St. Joseph University. Rose volunteers and serves on many boards for organizations in Hamilton County and currently is the caregiver for her mother. She is also a trustee in Delhi Township.
