| Gail Gepsman Ziegler, Council on Aging’s Outstanding Service Provider Award Winner |
Gail Gepsman Ziegler, Senior Manager for the Center for Holocaust Survivors of Jewish Family Services, was honored by Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio for her extraordinary efforts in care and support to more than 250 Holocaust survivors.
Ziegler received the Council on Aging’s Outstanding Service Provider Award at the organization’s annual meeting March 15 at the Sharonville Convention Center.
Described as “Passionate and Pushy” by her colleagues, Gail is a fierce advocate and critical support system for Holocaust Survivors in the Cincinnati Area. She is an expert in navigating a complex patchwork of support services and funding opportunities for survivors of the Holocaust.
“Gail is admired by others,” states Beth Schwartz, CEO of Jewish Family Services, “for her dedication and commitment to serving the survivors and her “can do” attitude of going above and beyond to meet the changing and challenging needs of the survivors.”
Ziegler is an ideal illustration of an individual who performs extraordinary work day in and day out so that others can have easier, better and longer lives.
