Council on Aging is overseen by a Board of Trustees and assisted by an Advisory Council.
Join an advisory council to help advocate for the needs of area older adults
Council on Aging is seeking new members for advisory councils that represent the needs of older adults across its service area. Members of advisory councils give voice to older consumers of services, people with disabilities and others involved in the field of aging.
Members’ views are brought to the attention of the Board of Trustees and COA staff to bring about a collaboration of older citizens, people with disabilities, community agencies, and state and local governments. Advisory councils meet four times a year. Members are also encouraged to help with advocacy and outreach. If you are interested in joining an advisory council, click here to complete the online Prospective Members form.

Elderly Services Program
The five counties in the COA service area have programs funded by county tax levies.
